To proclaim and make real the Mission of Jesus Christ who came to give life in abundance to humanity (Jn 10:10)

To contribute greatly in reducing the dangerous trend of illegal emigration

To support the effort of the government of Nigeria in fighting the problem of food security.

To empower young people and challenge them to face life with confidence.

To provide a reliable source of food for consumers, amidst the fake and substandard food quality in distribution.

To preach the social Gospel of the Church who shares in the joy and hope, the grief and anguish of men of our time, especially of those who are poor & afflicted.

The primary mission of the Church is to evangelize. But when the spiritual welfare of the people is hampered by lack of the most basic needs, the Church has no option than to do something to uplift fallen humanity. She is inspired by the social Gospel of Jesus Christ who came that we may have life in abundance (Jn 10:10).

PROJECT NARRATIVE

PROJECT NAME

This project is known as ´Mary Agro Farms. Ground breaking of the Project: 13 May, 2019 by Most Rev Ernest Obodo

OWNERSHIP

This project is owned by the Catholic Diocese of Enugu-Nigeria

LOCATION

The temporary site is located at St Mary Pro-Cathedral Udi-Enugu. The permanent site is to be located at Omughu-Obeleagu Umana / Obunofia Ndiuno / Obunofia Ndiagu, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State

AREA OF THE PROPERTY

The permanent site is a property covering 500 (Five hundred hectares of land). It is sandwiched between the Ajali River, Okpoku Lake and Heneke Water fall.

THE FARM

This project will have a full fledged farm settlement. For this reason, we have acquired 500 hectares of land. We shall establish animal and crop farming as well as plantations.
